How to activate a key on Xbox

Redeem on the web, in the Microsoft Store on Windows, or on your Xbox console.

Activate a game key

Open the redeem page
Go to redeem.microsoft.com, or open Microsoft Store on your Xbox or PC.

Sign in
Sign in with the Microsoft account you play on.

Enter the 25-character code
Type or paste the code and confirm.

Done
The game or balance is added to your Microsoft account.

“This code has already been used”

Check the account you’re signed in to; the code may have been redeemed there already.

“This code isn’t valid in your region”

The account’s country must be inside the key’s region. Contact support.
